I found this cool website that I thought had some great information for all those anglers out there. It is sponsored by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and shows where all the great fishing is in Utah. The map is interactive and shows the best fishing spots, the slowest fishing spots and everything in between. If you are planning a fishing trip, why not plan your destination according to where the fish are plentiful? For example, the hottest spots in Utah as of today are: 1) Pelican Lake (Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass); and, 2) Flaming Gorge (Kokanee Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Mountain Whitefish, Smallmouth Bass).

Some of the next best fishing can be found at places like Mill Hollow, Strawberry Reservoir, and Bear Lake. And don’t forget about all the trout located all throughout Utah’s lakes, rivers and streams.
